Milkworks

A Milk & Cookies Party can be hosted at your home as a play date, a moms’ night or a gathering of families. You can exchange cookies, exchange cookie recipes, or simply exchange memories of breastfeeding babies and MilkWorks.

However you choose to host your Milk & Cookies party, they are meant to raise money to support MilkWorks by collecting a suggested, or free-will, donation. Every little bit helps!

Thank you to Eileen and Miles for hosting the first Milk and Cookies party on January 22, 2011! Eileen wrote:  "MilkWorks has been a blessing to me and Miles - not to mention hundreds of other moms and their babies. We hope this Milk Money donation helps in your efforts."

Here’s how:

1.    Decide what kind of Milk & Cookies Party you want to have. Get inspired by reviewing some of these ideas:

2.    Tell MillkWorks about it so we can thank you. Email the following information to Angie (akeim@lps.org)
          a.    The date and location of your party
          b.    Your contact information
          c.    Number of people attending
          d.    Type of party you are hosting (with kids/mom’s only/etc)
          e.    Any other details you’d like to share

3.    Invite your friends. You can use an online source like evite.com or Facebook or design and print your own invitations. Be sure  to include the following information:
          a.    The date and location of your party
          b.    Details of the cookies exchange
          c.    That it is a fundraiser for MilkWorks
          d.    Suggested donation amount (or if it is a freewill donation)

4.    Host your party! Be sure to tell your friends why you are supporting MilkWorks. Milkworks can provide you some quick facts to share with your guests.

5.    Tell us about the party! When you send in or bring your donation, feel free to include photos or details of your party so we can share them with our Facebook fans!
