Groups

Research has shown that women who participate in groups with other mothers tend to adjust to motherhood more easily.

Mom Talk

This group is for moms with babies or toddlers. It is held in our toddler-safe Gathering Place, the large room next to our retail space. A breastfeeding educator leads the group and makes sure that everyone is introduced. There is always an opportunity to ask questions about breastfeeding, but moms also choose to talk about related topics as well. Older siblings are welcome.

  • New! Every Tuesday from 10:00am - 11:30am
  • Every Wednesday from 10:00am - 11:30am

Dad Talk

Calling All Dads! MilkWorks is going gender friendly! Our Monday morning group has a new name: Dad Talk! This group, which started with 2 stay-at-home dads, is just for dads and babies. A perfect way for dads to gather with other dads and share being a dad. No fee or registration. Just drop in! All dads and their babies (including toddlers) are welcome. Monday 10 am – 11:30 am.

Please Note:

  • Our groups are available at no cost because we want parents to have the opportunity to gather with other parents. If you have the ability to pay a one-time fee of $15 to help defray the cost of the groups, we appreciate it!
  • You do not need to register to attend group. Just drop in. If you are late, that is fine.
  • For wear and tear on the room and safety concerns, we ask that you not bring food or drink to group. If your child requires a snack, we ask that they sit on your lap to eat. Water in a spill proof container is fine.
  • MilkWorks is a well facility.  We want moms and dads to feel comfortable bringing their new babies to our facility.  If you or your baby or child are sick with a cold or the flu, we ask that you wait until you are recovered to come to group.  This is for everyone’s protection.
