What are the most common reasons for a low milk supply? |
- poor or infrequent removal of milk from the breasts,
- use of medications that interfere with the making of milk,
- breast surgery (usually a reduction),
- decreased or insufficient glandular tissue, or
- anxiety related to the production of milk.
