Baby Weigh Station

MilkWorks has a drop in weigh station in our waiting room.  Parents are welcome to stop in and weigh their babies any time we are open (7 days a week).  One of our breastfeeding educators will teach you how to use the scale and you are welcome to keep a weight record for your baby at MilkWorks. You are also welcome to stop in and do a pre and post feeding weight.  Some mothers find this helpful if they are concerned about their milk supply.

Please note:

MilkWorks is a well facility. We want moms and dads to feel comfortable bringing their new babies to our facility. If you or your baby or child are sick with a cold or the flu, we ask that you wait until you are well to come to MilkWorks. This is for everyone’s protection. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to call and we will help you over the phone.

Weigh and Stay
Every Thursday from 1-3 p.m.

Drop in to weigh your baby and visit with a Lactation Consultant at LMEP, 46th and Valley Road, Room 230.  This is a perfect opportunity to ask questions about your baby's latch or weight gain. There is no fee for this service.

LMEP is a large building with 3 entrances. The east entrance (far right) is for the Lincoln Family Medicine clinic. Go in the middle entrance. There is an elevator straight ahead on your left. Room 230 is down the hallway to the right. (To the left is the Young Families Program and a WIC office.)
