Breastfeeding can be one of the most satisfying parts of being a new mother. But contrary to popular belief, it is not something you and your baby will automatically know how to do. Getting started often requires education and support - assistance that has not always been readily available to mothers in our community. That's why MilkWorks was created.

Whether you are thinking ahead to breastfeeding, or are already breastfeeding, MilkWorks can help.  We are here to guide you, answer your questions and provide constant encouragement.  Remember – most mothers are able to breastfeed their babies once they receive support that addresses their unique needs.

MilkWorks is a non-profit breastfeeding center designed to help mothers have a positive breastfeeding experience. 

The MilkWorks staff includes a pediatrician and registered nurses who are board certified as lactation consultants. 

Our goal is to help you give the precious gift of breast milk to your baby.
